The Value of Healthy Relationships

One lesson that I have learned over the past week is the importance of healthy relationships in my life.  I have witnessed recently, in my life and in the lives of people very close to me, that nothing can function at its full capacity in our lives if we don't prioritize our loved ones before any and all worldly endeavors. The pain, worry, and heartache that come from disappointing a loved one, for me, is debilitating. I often struggle to sleep, eat healthy, exercise, and work hard when I am preoccupied by worry and stress concerning the status of my relationships. I have seen businesses begin to fail because those running them have lost sight of the importance of their relationships with God, their spouse, their children, and other important people in their lives. Simply put, we cannot experience true joy and success when we prioritize our search for that success over strengthening relationships with loved ones. I would even go further and say that true joy and success are not possible without functioning, healthy relationships with others. Sure, we may stumble across wealth, but if we aren't actively and intentionally loving and caring for people, specifically our families, no amount of money will fill the void left by the lack of love and emotional support we need as human beings. God never meant for us to experience life alone. He has put so many people in our paths to help, love, support, and cherish, who will in turn reciprocate those same actions toward us. I truly believe that He is far more concerned about how we treat our relationships with Him and with others than He is about the worldly success we experience. True, He does care a great deal about our temporal wellbeing, but ultimately our spiritual wellbeing is of much greater importance, and we will be spiritually terminally ill without a strong relationship with Him and with those He has placed in our path. In short, make it a high  priority to love God, your family, your friends, and all of the other people around you. It will benefit you greatly in every aspect of your life, now and in the future.

Ad Optimization and ROI

This week I learned a lot about how to optimize my keywords and ads in order to maximize the money I am paying for advertising now that I've started my campaign. I made a couple of changes based on the data I've received so far from Google about my ad performance. One of them was I removed the keywords "Grand Teton National Park" and "Yellowstone National Park" from my ads because they were limited by something in their performance. I still don't totally understand why that happened, but I made the change to get more clicks for my money. It may take a while, but once I start earning money, I will be able to run more serious ads with a larger budget, and my web business will be well on its way to a good profit!

This week I learned about Google Ads and their value to businesses. With a decent budget and proper planning, ads can drive large amounts of traffic to websites and social media pages, allowing for large amounts of growth sales for the companies that use them. I have learn from the articles and sites that I have used to research this week that ads should be carefully refined to be as well-made as possible before they are published. Descriptions and headlines need to be concise, clean, and helpful. If I create an ad, I need to make sure both of these aspects are refined and reviewed using keywords to make sure I have chosen the best words and phrases to drive as much traffic to my site as possible. The other important thing to keep in mind is that all of the budget information needs to be reviewed and double checked before publishing the campaign. Google Ads and Keywords

This week, I learned a lot more about how to use Google Ads and Keywords. I also learned that it is important to pay attention to the details of the instructions because I accidentally created an express account at first, so I had to contact Google support to figure out how to have access to all of the tools available in the regular account. Regarding keywords, I learned how important it is to have the best keywords possible. If keywords are all too specific, too general, or simply not relevant enough, we are going to waste money on nothing. We won't get clicks, we won't get sales, and nothing good will really come from learning to use Google Ads. However, if we use good Keywords and target our ad campaigns effectively, we can really grow our businesses and get better and better each day as we continue to learn and improve our skills.
